Canada has officially seen it’s first case of the deadly corona virus. According to a report from CBC News, Ontario health officials have confirmed on Monday that a patient and his wife have contracted the illness. Reports say that there are 19 other possible patients in Ontario being tested for the deadly virus. “We’re being extra, extra cautious about this,” said Ontario’s associate chief medical officer. The couple is said to have just returned to Toronto from their trip to Wuhan, China, the place believed to be the home of the corona virus. Medical chief Williams also stated to press, “We are working alongside Toronto Public Health, who has been in regular contact with the individual during their self-isolating period,” then added, “Given the fact that she has been in self-isolation, the risk to Ontarians remains low.” Accounts all over social media have been wasting no time in making memes and joking about the deadly outbreak, while others are taking it more seriously, buying masks and stocking up on canned goods preparing for the worst.
